Project Highlights
Environmental Management Disposal Facility
Provided Environmental Management Disposal Facility (EMDF) project management support for three years, supporting the United Cleanup Oak Ridge, LLC (UCOR) in their efforts to help maintain DOE’s environmental management mission on the Oak Ridge Reservation (ORR). The EMDF is an engineered onsite disposal facility for waste generated from deteriorated buildings on the ORR. The EMDF will enable environmental cleanup across the ORR so that the DOE Office of Science and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) can reuse the land in support of innovative research and national security missions.
ETTP Fiber Optics Reroute
Successful completion of another project at ETTP is attributed to excellent collaboration in rerouting of the main fiber optics line between the Heritage Center and Y-12 was accomplished seamlessly, enabling the continuation of soil remediation at EU-30. This project signifies a crucial step in addressing soil remedial needs at the Heritage Center.
