Facilities Management

Optimizing performance and ensuring stable operations

Strata-G’s team of water, wastewater, electrical, and natural gas system experts can assist you with the management of utility operations to maximize productivity and ensure stable operations. Strata-G is well equipped to help local utilities with inflow and infiltration issues, and we can support management of potable drinking water distribution systems by identifying points of capacity limitations, providing solutions for aging systems, and planning for future expansion. Our staff also offers the experience to assess feasibility and create strategies to utilize CNG for transportation.

Project Highlights

Excess Facilities Management

Strata-G supports facility management at the Y-12 National Security Complex and other DOE sites by managing wastewater treatment operations, ensuring compliance with NPDES, RCRA, TSCA, and DOT requirements, and maintaining treatment systems for safe and efficient performance. Our engineers also support excess facility disposition by developing treatment schemes, preparing planning documents, and providing cost estimates for multi-million-dollar upgrades, decommissioning, and demolition projects at Y-12, Pantex, and national labs. These efforts help DOE safely modernize aging infrastructure, streamline operations, and prepare facilities for future mission needs.

Renewable Energy Project Support at the UT Solar Farm

Strata-G provides project leadership and operational oversight to ensure the continued success of the University of Tennessee’s West Tennessee Solar Farm in Haywood County, TN. Serving as Project Director, our team delivers daily management and coordination of activities that keep the 5-megawatt facility operating efficiently and reliably. This work includes overseeing maintenance, performance monitoring, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as coordinating with stakeholders to maximize the farm’s contribution to Tennessee’s clean energy initiatives. Through this role, Strata-G helps UT sustain one of the state’s largest solar installations, advancing renewable energy, research, and education opportunities.
