Facilities Management Services
Supporting Reliable Facilities, Utilities, and Infrastructure
Strata-G provides facilities management services that help government, commercial, utility, and institutional clients maintain reliable operations, manage aging infrastructure, and plan for future facility needs. Our professionals support industrial, radiological, nuclear, renewable energy, and utility facilities throughout their operational lifecycles.
Our team brings experience across water, wastewater, electrical, natural gas, solar, and biomass systems. We evaluate facility and utility performance, identify equipment and capacity limitations, coordinate maintenance and construction activities, and develop practical strategies to improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Strata-G also supports facility modernization, deactivation, decommissioning (D&D), and excess-facility disposition. Our engineers and project professionals develop treatment strategies, planning documents, cost estimates, and infrastructure improvements that help clients manage aging assets and prepare facilities for future needs.
Our facilities management capabilities include:
- Managing industrial, radiological, and nuclear facilities
- Providing utility operations oversight and long-range planning
- Supporting water and wastewater treatment and distribution systems
- Evaluating system capacity, reliability, and infrastructure condition
- Identifying operational improvements and equipment issues
- Managing solar, biomass, and natural gas utility projects
- Coordinating facility maintenance, construction, and system upgrades
- Supporting regulatory compliance for facility and utility operations
- Providing construction oversight, quality control, and owner’s representative services
- Developing facility plans, operating strategies, and safety and quality systems
- Supporting facility modernization, deactivation, decommissioning (D&D), and demolition planning
Project Highlights
Excess Facilities Management
Strata-G supports facility management at the Y-12 National Security Complex and other U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) sites by managing wastewater treatment operations, ensuring compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, and maintaining treatment systems for safe and efficient performance. Our engineers also support excess facility disposition by developing treatment schemes, preparing planning documents, and providing cost estimates for multi-million-dollar upgrade, decommissioning, and demolition projects at Y-12, Pantex, and national labs. These efforts help DOE safely modernize aging infrastructure, streamline operations, and prepare facilities for future mission needs.
Renewable Energy Project Support at the UT Solar Farm
Strata-G provides project leadership and operational oversight to ensure the continued success of the University of Tennessee’s West Tennessee Solar Farm in Haywood County, TN. Serving as Project Director, our team delivers daily management and coordination to keep the 5-megawatt facility operating efficiently and reliably. This work includes overseeing maintenance, performance monitoring, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as coordinating with stakeholders to maximize the farm’s contribution to Tennessee’s clean energy initiatives. Through this role, Strata-G helps UT sustain one of the state’s largest solar installations, advancing renewable energy, research, and education opportunities.
