John Wrapp has over 43 years of experience in the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) waste management and environmental arena. His core skills include:
- Strategic program planning and problem solving
- Program management and assessment
- Project planning, management, budget formulation, execution, and review
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the DOE’s waste management and environmental remediation programs from waste characterization through final disposition
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
- Significant experience with Integrated Safety Management Systems, Conduct of Operations, and nuclear facility operations
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Facilitation and negotiation with Stakeholders
- Personnel management and development of large professional organizations
Mr. Wrapp is highly experienced in the waste management and environmental remediation fields, from establishing the necessary programs to implementation. Mr. Wrapp has worked in all aspects of radioactive waste management. He has been instrumental in supporting the DOE in addressing challenging waste streams across the DOE complex. Mr. Wrapp has served in increasingly complex and accountable senior leadership roles supporting many of the most successful clean-up projects within the DOE complex. Mr. Wrapp has a B.S. degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
