In a season of showing thanks, we were grateful to come together for our annual Veterans Day dinner, where we had the privilege of honoring some of the Veterans on our Strata-G team. It was a meaningful opportunity to show our heartfelt appreciation for their dedication and service to our country. Thank you to everyone who made this event special, especially to our Veterans.

We are also honored to share that Strata-G has received the U.S. Department of Labor’s Hire Vets Platinum Medallion Award for the fifth consecutive year—an important recognition of our commitment to supporting veterans in the workplace.

Thank you to all veterans and to our Strata-G veteran employees for your service to our team, clients, and country.

We’re excited to announce that Strata-G has achieved the Cyber Essentials Certification! This certification helps businesses protect against the most common cyber-attacks. Created by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre and Information Assurance Security Management Association, this certification outlines key requirements to boost Strata-G’s cybersecurity capabilities.

This accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and guidance of our IT specialists, Dwight Cross and Brett McGregor, and mentorship from UCOR IT specialists Chad Waddell and Kayla Sutton. Thank you for your expertise and support in strengthening our cybersecurity efforts as part of our mentor-protégé agreement with UCOR.

Achieving Cyber Essentials was also a key step for working on certain UK government projects. It has set a strong foundation for our broader cybersecurity goals, helping us on the path toward NIST 800-171 compliance and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification in the future.

We are thrilled to congratulate Strata-G’s very own Safety Specialist, Mel McKenzie, for being honored with the prestigious President’s Award by Jim Thornton, President of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), at the Safety24 Conference and Expo.

Mel was recognized for her outstanding contributions as a member of the Leadership Conference Planning Committee. She earned the award for her pivotal role in “transforming ASSP’s Leadership Conference into a year-round offering that engages and empowers our Society’s leaders to meet member needs.”

This remarkable achievement highlights Mel’s leadership and commitment to advancing safety standards and leadership development within the industry. Her dedication has not only enhanced ASSP’s programs but also reflects Strata-G’s ongoing mission to create a safer work environment for our clients and employees.

Please join us in celebrating Mel’s exceptional contribution to both ASSP and the entire safety community!
