Big congratulations to Ray Smith, Oak Ridge Historian, on receiving the ORCC’s Eugene L. Joyce Lifetime Achievement Award!
Ray has spent years at Y-12 and now Strata-G, preserving and sharing the remarkable and evolving story of Oak Ridge. In doing so, Ray is helping keep Oak Ridge’s history accessible, accurate, and meaningful for our community and the nation.

Strata-G Senior Project Manager and Electrical Expert Keith Wilson has supported the City of Oliver Springs since 2024, at the request of Mayor Jason Stiltner, to help improve the downtown Flag Court area.
Long-established but undermaintained, the site also featured volunteer electrical work that did not comply with current safety codes. The City’s goal is to honor past and present veterans by making safe, code-compliant upgrades, including plans to hang veteran banners on downtown power poles.
Strata-G is honored to support these efforts and help strengthen a meaningful community space. Great work, Keith and team!

Strata-G team members recently joined the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, hosted by the Knoxville Zoo, in support of a very important cause. We were honored to receive the award for Most Participants Recruited!

Congratulations to Strata-G’s very own Ray Smith for receiving the William T. Sergeant Vocational Service Award from the Rotary Club of Oak Ridge!
Ray was honored for his lifelong dedication to service and community. In true Ray fashion, he chose to donate his monetary award to the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) Foundation to support the purchase of a submarine conning tower, recognizing Oak Ridge’s vital role in the U.S. Nuclear Navy.
Thank you, Ray, for your generosity and leadership in preserving Oak Ridge’s legacy.
