Kylie Julius-Schumacher

Communications Manager

With over nine years of business and professional communication experience, Kylie serves as Communications Manager at Strata-G, leading internal and external communications across the company. She believes that effective communication is essential for organizational success and builds strong relationships with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clientele, including United Cleanup Oak Ridge, LLC (UCOR), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), and Y-12 National Security Complex employees.

Kylie is actively involved in the Oak Ridge community through organizations such as the Energy, Technology, and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA) and the East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC). She graduated from Leadership Oak Ridge in 2023, and her contributions have earned her ETEC’s 2023 Postma Young Professional Medal and the 2022 Young Professional of the Year Award from the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce.

Kylie has earned her B.S. in Communication Studies and M.S. in Communication and Information from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Communication and Information with a concentration in Communication Studies, expected to graduate in May 2027. She also serves as an instructor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, teaching Organizational Communication, Business and Professional Communication, and Public Speaking, having taught over 25 undergraduate courses for the university.
