Kevin Mitchell, P.G.

Executive Vice President, Compliance Services

Kevin Mitchell serves as Strata-G’s Executive Vice President and oversees the company’s Compliance Services Division. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Millsaps College and a master’s degree in Geochemistry from the Colorado School of Mines.

Kevin is a registered Professional Geologist (P.G.) with more than 28 years of technical and management experience in the public and private sectors. His expertise includes environmental compliance, site characterization, remedial actions, and geological services. He also has extensive experience in hazardous and radiological waste management, waste profiling and certification, and quality control.

Kevin has supported alternative energy and energy-efficiency initiatives, including carbon-footprint assessments. During his more than 23 years with Strata-G, he has provided technical and organizational leadership and currently manages the company’s Oxford, Mississippi, office.

Kevin has also remained active in his community. He previously served as president of the Rotary Club of Oxford-Ole Miss and as an advisory committee member for the Upper Tallahatchie River Watershed Education Initiative. He currently serves as secretary of the Mississippi Biomass and Renewable Energy Council.
