Strata-G is proud of our newest graduate, Cade, a Smoky Mountain Service dog we sponsored 2 years ago as a puppy. Recently, Strata-G President and CEO, Dan Hurst, along with other Strata-G staff, participated in the Passing the Leash ceremony, officially transitioning Cade to her Veteran and his wife, both of whom look forward to the improvements in their lives that Cade will bring.
Safety Fest TN drew over 1,200 attendees to its annual slate of free safety training classes, demonstrations, and workshops. Among them were Kate Honebrink, Strata-G Executive Assistant, and Tina Webb, HR Specialist, who went to learn First Aid/CPR/AED basics. They enjoyed the small class of video and hands-on learning and were instructed in how to make a sling, stop a bleed, use an AED, perform CPR, treat someone in shock and trauma, and other basic skills. Thanks for attending. You make our office safer.
Strata-G was well-represented at the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K & Relay. Our team, flashy in our new wellness shirts, participated in several of the races to promote good health and wellness. This race is one of many wellness activities that our employees can participate in throughout the year. Kate Honebrink manages our program that includes a variety of challenges such as hydration, healthy weight, eating more fruits and vegetables, and walking. Employees have the chance to win wellness prizes during each challenge. The Strata-G Wellness Program makes getting and staying healthy fun.
Our Quality Assurance (QA) services continue to grow as evidenced by new and expanded opportunities at several project sites. Michael Russell, Strata-G’s QA Manager, is key to this growth and leads our efforts to continue to develop our corporate QA Plan, cultivate awareness of the importance of QA among our employees, and develop QA as a business line.
