Our Strata-G transportation experts are nationally and internationally known for getting the tough projects and doing them right the first time around. Through logistics expertise, experience in packaging over 5,000 hazardous and radioactive materials shipments, and our close professional relationships with carriers, Strata-G provides outstanding technical support for transportation planning, packaging, manifesting, inspection, tracking, and reporting.
Project Description Strata-G has provided transportation support to DOE contrators at multiple sites within the Oak Ridge Reservation from 2001 to the present. While responsible for the shipment of radioactive material to the Nevada Test Site (NTS), Strata-G personnel generated paperwork and shipment documentation for NTS approval while serving as the Alternate Waste Certification Officer. Our professionals have also supervised Oak Ridge off-site shipments of nonradioactive RCRA, TSCA, and industrial waste and provided technical expertise for developing profiles for waste and inspection of all manifests, interfacing with off-site vendors to ensure that all waste was properly profiled for treatment and ultimate disposal, reviewing and approving invoices for off-site shipments, supervising Labpack Technicians for all off-site shipments, and overseeing waste packaging and transportation services for numerous D&D operations.
