Our experienced Strata-G compliance professionals bring clarity to the landscape of EPA's 2009 federally mandated Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting Rule, Executive Order 13514, and other rapidly developing climate change regulations. Strata-G will partner with your company to ensure that your facility is compliant and properly positioned as GHG policies emerge from state and federal regulatory agencies. Responding to these changes requires short-term and long-term programs to reduce GHG emissions, meet compliance requirements, and conserve energy. We can establish baseline GHG emissions, reduce energy intensity in existing buildings, identify actions based on economical and regulatory benefits, help clients define their Strategic Sustainability Performance Plan, and capture GHG/carbon offsets for future investments.
Project Description For the EPA GHG Applicability Determination and Compliance Strategy project, Strata-G personnel conducted the applicability determination of EPA’s Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule for a DOE prime contractor in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The determination was inclusive of all facility operations and was followed up by the completion of the facility's first EPA GHG Reporting Rule requirement, the GHG Monitoring Plan. Strata-G continues to track the regulatory progress of the EPA Rule as reporting formats and other aspects of the Rule are finalized, and GHG emissions and other data are currently being gathered by Strata-G personnel for EPA-required submittal in 2011.
