Nuclear Operations Services to DOE Prime Contractor

Provided nuclear operations technical services to a Prime Department of Energy managing contractor. Strata-G was tasked with staffing key management and advisory positions within the manufacturing organization. Strata-G was actively involved in the startup of a new chemical facility, operation of an active production facility, and deactivation and demolition of an operating facility. Responsibilities included: managing operations of a Category II nuclear facility; shift management; shift advisor; facility safety basis implementation and compliance; regulatory compliance; nuclear criticality safety; hazard reduction; deactivation activities; and work start authority. Strata-G provides significant expertise in Conduct of Operations (CONOPS) to ensure only safe, proper, and efficient operations are performed.

Quality Assurance Support for Liquid Gaseous Waste Operations and Surveillance and Maintenance Project at ORNL

Strata-G provided quality assurance services in the operations and maintenance of various nuclear and non-nuclear facilities at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Strata-G was tasked with the preparation and maintenance of the overall quality assurance program. The task included the performance of monthly quality assurance assessments and status reporting on conditions adverse to quality. Strata-G also prepared and issued annual quality assurance reports on project activities. Oversight was performed on critical areas of the project and direct interface was involved with both Department of Energy and prime contractor personnel on any quality issues pertaining to the Project.

Quality Assurance Support to DOE Landfill Operations

Strata-G served as the Quality Assurance Manager for a DOE landfill. Services included preparation, review and approval of the landfill's Quality Assurance Program Plan and quality assurance procedures. The task included the performance of quality assurance assessments and status reporting on conditions adverse to quality. Strata-G prepared and issued annual quality assurance reports on project activities.
