Energy Management and Savings Energy Management and Savings

Strata-G engineers can help you develop programs for energy, sustainable building, and fleet management that will achieve your goals, reduce your costs, and meet regulatory requirements, including those of Executive Order 13423. In addition, we can perform energy audits and implement energy savings projects such as Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) for federal agencies.
Project Description Strata-G performed an energy audit of a 190,000-square-foot office as part of the LEED EB (Existing Buildings) certification process. The project involved reviewing utility rates, lighting systems, HVAC systems, computerized building automation systems, water heaters, and other water-utilization devices. Applying the data collected and using the Energy Star benchmarking tool to track electric, natural gas, and water/sewer usage, our experts developed a strategic plan that successfully optimized system performance.

LEED Concept Integration LEED Concept Integration

Strata-G professionals are experienced in the integration of LEED concepts into both existing buildings and new construction projects, including the design of a new uranium processing facility.
Project Description In a project for the Y-12 Nuclear Security Complex, Strata-G developed and delivered training and presentation materials on DOE's High Performance Sustainable Building (HPSB) design principles and LEED for New Construction prerequisites and credit criteria.
