Strata-G Recognized by Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve

ESGR Presents "Above and Beyond Award"

Strata-G was recently recognized by the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve with an Above and Beyond Award for its support of the men and women of the National Guard and Reserve.

ESGR is a Department of Defense volunteer organization that provides free education, consultation, and if necessary, mediation for employers, an guard and reserve employees. ESGR's goal is to support America's employers who have partnered with their guard and reserve members for national defense.

The Above and Beyond Award, which is given in limited numbers by the state ESGR, recognizes employers at the state level who have gone above and beyond the legal requirements for employers for support of their deployed personnel.

Strata-G also signed a Statement of Support, which is a symbol of the company's proactive support of the Guard and Reserve.

"As a veteran-owned company, it was important for Strata-G to make a significant statement about our stance on supporting deployed personnel," said Dan Hurst, founder and president of Strata-G.

During a ceremony with Strata-G employees at its Hardin Valley office, Ken McFetridge, Roy Roberts, and Bill Jones, with ESGR, presented Strata-G with the award and Statement of Support, and commended them for being an example to other companies in the community.

"On behalf of the ESGR I thank Strata-G for their leadership in supporting the men and women of the National Guard and Reserve," said Roy Roberts, ESGR area chair.

"Companies like Strata-G play an important role in ensuring ESGR is successful in its missions."

Founded in 2002, Strata-G's team of technical professionals perform critical operations for various clients including the Department of Energy, commercial nuclear facilities and private industry.
