SBA Recognizes Strata-G Excellence

The United States Small Business Administration has recognized Strata-G, a local environmental and transportation technical services company, with its Administrator's Award of Excellence for "outstanding contribution and service to the nation by a small business."
"We are grateful for this recognition by the SBA," said Dan Hurst, president of Strata-G. "This award reflects the quality of our staff andthe emphasis that they place on serving our clients."
According to Mitchell Morand, the SBA Area III manager who delivered the award to the Strata-G office, the SBA awards program criteria for the nomination include overall management, customer interface, technical capabilities, and special achievements.
Strata-G is a veteran-owned small business dedicated to the principles of integrity, service, and quality. Strata-G technical professionals manage strategic materials and information for commercial and federal clients, including the Department of Energy. Strata-G services include radioactive and hazardous waste management; transportation compliance services; logistics and supply chain management; training; environmental compliance; information management, quality assurance; and nuclear operations.
