Strata-G Donates Coats for the Cold

Knoxville's Homeless Receive 5,000 Coats

Employee volunteers from Strata-G, LLC assisted with they early Coats for the Cold Program that benefits Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM).

Close to 5,000 coats were given to those in need on the day of the event. Nearly 10,000 coats were collected, and the remainder will be distributed throughout the next few weeks at events like Project Homeless Connect.

"Strata-G is an important partner in ministry," said KARM President Burt Rosen.

"The company provides annual financial support, and their employees have participated in many of our events. They demonstrate their commitment to their community in everything they do. We are blessed to have them as a part of the KARM family."

In addition to their involvement with the Coats for the Cold efforts, Strata-G employees have also served meals, participated in the Veteran's Day dinner and supported other initiatives.

Dan Hurst, founder and president of Strata-G, said, "I believe in KARM's foundation and its mission and I am so pleased that my companycan play a role in helping them do their job of helping so many in our community who are in need."
