Strata-G continued its commitment to corporate stewardship and technology deployment by sponsoring the 2009 Global Venture Challenge. As a successful entrepreneur focused in the areas of environmental stewardship, Strata-G President Dan Hurst has been an invited judge for the past two years.
The Global Venture Challenge is an educational event designed to foster entrepreneurial spirit by engaging students, industry, government and the investment community in the discovery and development of innovative ideas. The ultimate goal is to encourage students to launch new technology-based businesses for the rapid deployment of market-viable technologies.
The theme for the 2009 Global Venture Challenge was Industrial Energy Efficiency and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy's Industrial Technologies Program, Strata-G, and other organizations.
