Executive Vice President

Darrell Daugherty is the Executive Vice President of Strata-G. Darrell has a Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.

Darrell has more than twenty years experience of safely and compliantly administering waste characterization, certification, generator services, and acceptance programs in accordance with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Order 435.1; conducting strategic and long-range waste management planning for DOE Oak Ridge sites; managing special projects; shipping hazardous, low-level radioactive, and mixed waste; and operating and closing waste facilities - all with ZERO accidents, ZERO non-compliances, and ZERO transportation violations.

In keeping with Strata-G's commitment to Community Outreach, Darrell is heavily involved with Habitat for Humanity as well as other Strata-G interests through Knox Area Rescue Ministries, the Southern Appalachian Science and Engineering Fair, and the Adopt-a-Highway program. He serves on the Board of Directors for Aid to Distressed Families in Appalachian Counties, an independent non-profit agency serving the diverse charitable needs of the residents of Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne, Morgan, Roane and Scott counties in Tennessee.
