Field Trip to our Community School
In 2016, Strata-G adopted a community school, West View Elementary. It was exciting to take a field trip recently to the school and meet with Susan Martin, West View community school coordinator. West View vibrates with energetic kids, engaged staff, and committed families and partners. From the playground, students are reminded of future possibilities with a view of UT, framed by the Great Smokies. We intend to help them achieve their goals along the way.
Strata-G Leads Children’s Tour of the West Tennessee Solar Farm
Our Infrastructure Division Manager, Elliott Barnett, manages the West Tennessee Solar Farm for the Research Foundation of UT. As part of his responsibilities, Elliott regularly tours school groups interested in learning about solar power. You can tell by his big grin that Elliott has as much fun doing it as the kids! What a great place to be on a beautiful sunny day.
